Credit Card Alert!
Credit Card Alert! Last week I received a call from, who I thought was my credit card company because that is what was told to me. He said they were rewarding me for being a good customer, with a 1 yr free magazine subscription (Central Rewards). Then on Friday I get a Thank you letter for subscribing. So I went to check my credit card charges & there were several charges on my credit card from this company totaling $85. I called them today to tell them I didn't agree to this & they said I had 7 days to go on their website & review & cancel. I was never told that during the conversation. So she said she would cancel the subscription but would not credit my account. I was not accepting that so I called my credit card company (Chase) & they were very nice. I explained the what happened, they removed the charges & will do an investigation on that company. Normally I do not agree to any offer on the phone but I thought it was legit because last year I earned $350 back in rewards and I thought this was the same thing because they said they were Chase.
